The Mid- and South-Atlantic Chapter of the American Society of Indexing is pleased to announce the award of a $500 scholarship to attend the ASI East Coast Regional Meeting.  The meeting will be held in Philadelphia, PA on November 11 – 12, 2016.  Please join us in congratulating Lori Holtzinger. Lori has been a freelance book and journal indexer since 2008. Lori’s niece introduced her to the idea of indexing and she completed her training through the USDA, with Kari Kells as her mentor. Lori works full time as an Occupational Therapist with special needs children in the school system, so her freelance business, Zinger Indexing, is truly moonlighting. She has indexed books in the areas of psychology, social work, nursing and allied health, talent development, and local history. A Pennsylvania native, Lori now resides in southern Delaware with her husband, Joe, and her feline administrative assistant, Betty. She has a lifelong love of learning and of organizing things, so indexing is also an avocation.  Lori can be contacted at zingerindexing@gmail.com.
